Kathleen is a trained musician and studied for many years in Bangkok, Thailand. She took music classes at Bowie State College and has a degree in Human Services and a minor in Biology. Kathleen also took classes in California with the School of Rock. She has studied under the direction of the renowned Sarah Watkins at the Watkins Academy
Kathleen is a trained musician and studied for many years in Bangkok, Thailand. She took music classes at Bowie State College and has a degree in Human Services and a minor in Biology. Kathleen also took classes in California with the School of Rock. She has studied under the direction of the renowned Sarah Watkins at the Watkins Academy of Music. She has composed many of her own pieces and also enjoys playing guitar and ukulele. Kathleen was in a band in California called North of Maybe and currently plays in a 60's cover band that is available for local events.

Kathleen offers piano and ukulele lessons. Classes are designed to be unique and individualized for each student's way of learning and range from beginner to intermediate.
Classes are a minimum of 30 minutes with longer sessions available. Classes can be scheduled at your convenience from 7am-11pm, seven days a week.

Partner classes are available for families that may have more than one member interested or for friends that would like to learn together. Kathleen has two pianos which allows both participates to learn at the same time. This allows families to split the cost and share the driving responsibilities.
Kathleen also offers lessons for people with disabilities, who are blind or terminally ill. Classes are provided free of charge but space is limited, Please contact us for more information.
In addition, Kathleen will travel to assisted living facilities to provide group ukulele lessons. Please contact us for more information.

Piano by Kathleen is located in a historic log cabin, built in 1865. It is conveniently located on Main Street in Manchester, MD and is within walking distance of Manchester Elementary School as well as many other conveniences.
Kathleen also has portable equipment and is available to bring the lessons to you if preferred. Please contact us for more information.
